Meyer entered the Singaporean elevator market during a period of significant growth driven by the government's initiative to upgrade all public housing estates. This initiative, requiring the replacement of an estimated 100,000 elevators, created a surge in demand, providing Meyer with a unique opportunity to establish itself as a key player in the industry.

Initially, Meyer focused on providing installation services for larger elevator companies. However, recognising the limitations of this subcontractor role, the company expanded its capabilities, assembling a skilled workforce of over 80 professionals and venturing into the private sector.

In 2010, a pivotal shift occurred. The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) relaxed building regulations, enabling homeowners to build upwards. This presented a unique opportunity – a burgeoning market for residential elevators. Understanding this potential, Meyer seized the moment, becoming an early pioneer in this niche.

Driven by a commitment to excellence, Meyer began sourcing components from the world's leading manufacturers, meticulously selecting the best-in-class for each system. This meticulous approach led to the development of unique and highly-engineered elevator solutions, certified by European authorities.

A testament to Meyer's commitment to quality and innovation, the company was selected to provide elevator solutions for the Apple store at Marina Bay Sands, a project overseen by the renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners. This landmark project solidified Meyer's reputation as a leader in the industry.
