Cartier - ION Shopping Mall

Our initial collaboration with a luxury retailer at ION, with D.P.J & Partners, demanded the execution of a challenging vision: a fully fire-rated glass elevator, enveloped in gold stainless steel. The specification of 30mm fire-rated glass, combined with mirror finishes, minimized the visual weight of the steel profiles, creating a captivating focal point. To address pit depth and headroom constraints, a 2:1 indirect lateral acting hydraulic system with twin pistons was implemented, ensuring adherence to Singapore building code regulations. This project highlights our ability to harmonize aesthetic aspirations with complex technical solutions, delivering a visually stunning and functionally superior lift.
